Compliance with Indian Labour Laws
Users of WorkedIN acknowledge and accept the following statutory responsibilities and clarifications:
Employers are solely responsible for paying at least minimum wages, making timely payments, and ensuring equal remuneration. WorkedIN does not determine wage rates nor act as a wage-paying authority.
Employers must ensure safe working conditions, appropriate safety equipment, and compliance with working hour limits. WorkedIN is a technology intermediary and does not supervise workplaces.
When workers are recruited across states, employers must comply with state registrations, allowances, and welfare provisions. WorkedIN acts only as a digital matching platform.
Employers are responsible for determining applicability of PF, ESI, and other social security schemes and making statutory contributions. WorkedIN does not deduct or remit unless mandated.
Any contract labour relationship exists solely between the employer and worker. Licensing, registration, and compliance obligations rest with the employer.
WorkedIN has zero tolerance for the registration or engagement of persons below 18. Accounts violating this policy are terminated and may be reported to authorities.
Platform users are not employees of WorkedIN unless directly hired. Disputes related to termination or service conditions fall outside platform liability.
By using WorkedIN, employers and workers confirm that they are aware of applicable Indian labour laws and remain responsible for their own statutory compliance. The platform serves solely as a technology intermediary.
